BAKING:

  1. Bake cookies using maple syrup & display 3 on a disposable plate in a sealed clear plastic bag
  2. Bake & decorate 3 cupcakes “shown” on a disposable plate inside a sealed clear plastic bag. No mixes or paper liners
  3. Make a treat for a family member “shown” in a sealed clear plastic bag.
  4. Make barbeque sauce “shown” in a small, sealed jar
  5. Make 3 pieces of fudge “shown” on a disposable plate inside a sealed clear plastic bag

ARTS & CRAFTS:

  1. Decorate an old pair of sunglasses
  2. Create a fireworks scene on black construction paper – sparkles & sequins allowed
  3. Make a self-supporting “can-imal”, a farm animal using a min. of 2 cans, max. 22 cm x 28 cm
  4. Hand write or print words that Canadians spell differently than Americans
  5. Make a birthday card for Canada’s 150th birthday
  6. Using a child’s building set (Lego, K’nex etc.) create something that can be “shown” at the Bolton Fall Fair, max. 25 cm in any direction
  7. Hand print or cursive write as many words as you an using the letters from “Canada – True North, Strong”
  8. Hand print or cursive write a Playlist of your favourite Canadian songs
  9. Any other craft not mentioned, max. 50 cm in any direction

UNDERSTANDING AGRICULTURE:

  1. Hand print or cursive write a list of 10 field crops
  2. Draw & label 5 different farm tools or implements
  3. Create by hand a bumper sticker for a vehicle, promoting the Bolton Fall Fair
  4. Collect 5 different vegetables, label them & display in a basket or on a disposable plate
