NO MEMBERSHIP OR ENTREY FEE IS REQUIRED for sections 22 (Junior Sewing, Knitting & Crocheting) & 27-35

 

Register your (section 22 & 27-35) entries with the directors in charge Thursday evening between 6:00 p.m. & 9:00 p.m. or Friday morning between 8:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. in the President’s Building.  Your age, grade & school will be noted on your entry envelope.  Your entries will be judged in the following classes depending on the grade you are in in September 2017:

 

Class 27 – Age 3 & under
Class 28 – JK & SK
Class 29 – Grades 1 & 2
Class 30 – Grades 3 & 4
Class 31 – Grades 5 & 6
Class 32 – Grades 7 & 8
Class 33 – Grades 9 to 12
Class 34 – Junior Open Baking Class
Class 35 – Junior Photography

Any competitor may compete in a higher class level.

Understanding Agriculture will be judged 50% on agricultural content & 50% on the quality of hand printing or cursive writing – no computer printing please, unless otherwise noted.

 All entries & prize money is to be picked up Sunday at 4:30 p.m.  Entries not picked up will be disposed of unless other arrangements have been made.

 Prizes & Points:

1st $5 & 5 points; 2nd $4 & 4 points; 3rd $3 & 3 points; 4th $2 & 2 points; all other entries ½ point

If there are more than 8 entries in a class, 5th & 6th prizes will also be awarded as follows:

5th – $1 & 1 point; 6th $0.50 & 1 point
