Another Fair has come and gone

130919-202310On behalf of the Albion & Bolton Agricultural Society, I would like to thank everyone for coming out to the 155th Bolton Fall Fair. Our town is filled with community giving. This is shown by the many great volunteers who dedicate their time and effort throughout the year to make our Bolton Fall Fair so successful.
A special thank you also goes out to our sponsors and local businesses, for their generous donations. We really appreciate your support every year. We had a wet and muddy Bolton Fair this year. We kicked off our fair on Thursday night with our Community Appreciation Rides. Our Demolition Derby took on a new format and we saw a lot more demolition cars this year. We finished the fair with 5 local public schools and some community groups competing for bragging rights in our Tug -o- War competition! The fair was full of great family activities all weekend long. A BIG thank you goes out to the 150 wonderful members of our organization for all of your effort in making our fair such a great community event. Our mission is to bring together the rural and urban communities and educate through exhibitions, demonstration and competitions with displays from the field, the barn and the home and onto the table. We had a great time with our theme of Tractors and Tailgates and look forward to next years theme of Cowboys & Cowgirls, along with some sunshine.
